Privacy Policy
Our privacy promise
PreachPad is designed as a free, ad-free, local-first sermon writing and preaching app. Your sermons are created, edited, searched, and read on your own device. PreachPad does not require a forced account and does not silently upload sermon content to our servers.
Information stored on your device
PreachPad stores sermon titles, sermon content, topics, sermon series, templates, app settings, backup reminder settings, and related local app data in your device storage. This data is used only to provide the app features you choose to use.
Backups and imports
Backup and restore are file based. When you export a backup, PreachPad creates a local JSON backup file that you choose where to save. If you manually copy that file to cloud storage, email, USB, SD card, or another app, that transfer is controlled by you and may be governed by the privacy terms of that service.
Feedback by email
If you contact us through the feedback screen, PreachPad opens your own email app. The message is sent only when you choose to send it. Feedback may include the message you write, optional contact information, feedback type, app version, platform, and platform version. Sermon content is not added automatically.
Notifications
PreachPad may ask for notification permission only for the optional daily backup reminder. You can use the app without enabling backup reminders. Notification settings are stored locally.
No ads or tracking
PreachPad is free to use and does not show ads. The app is not designed to track your sermon writing activity for advertising.
Children and ministry use
PreachPad is intended for sermon preparation, Bible teaching, ministry notes, and preaching support. Users should avoid storing sensitive personal information unless they are comfortable keeping that information on their own device and backups.
Data retention and deletion
Core sermon data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, uninstall the app, clear app storage, or restore/import backup data. Emails you choose to send to support may be retained as needed to respond to your request.
